Um, what? Just marching past the wall like it ain't no thing? The wall covers the entire Westerosi northern border -- from coast to coast. One does not simply walk into Westeros.

But the Season 7 credits may explain this. Sharp fans noticed that winter has changed the North; The seas on either side of it have frozen over.
