When Doc Brown designed his DeLorean in Back to the Future, beauty of eroticism he had one goal in mind: time travel.
But when 55-year-old Nigel Mills of Essex, England, recently took his own DeLorean out for a spin, he wasn't particularly interested in traveling back in time. He was, however, clocked for speeding at 88 mph -- the speed at which Doc Brown famously claimed the DeLorean could break the time-space continuum.

Mills paid £22,000 or ($29,112 US dollars) for the cult car. He only takes it out a few times a year, and everywhere he goes, people watch.
"When I’m out in it a few people recognize it, they slow down and take pictures," Mills told The Guardian. "Drivers take pictures out of their windows or try to film you and I get approached at petrol stations."
Via GiphyMills claimed the the road "was completely clear" when he was clocked for speeding. When Mills went to court to fight the ticket, his case was dismissed, as the two officers who clocked him failed to show up.
If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 mph, you're gonna see some serious . . . ticketing.
