American Crime Storyreturns in 2020 — with Monica Lewinsky as its producer.
On Tuesday,erosion eroticism vintage FX Networks confirmed the next installment of its Emmy Award-winning anthology true crime series. Titled Impeachment: American Crime Story, the series' third season will tackle the 1998 impeachment of former President Bill Clinton, and premiere on Sept. 28 at 10 p.m. ET.
Lewinsky, a controversial figure at the center of the political scandal, will produce the series alongside executive producers Sarah Burgess, Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk, Larry Karaszewski, Scott Alexander, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Sarah Paulson— as well as fellow producers Henrietta Conrad and Jemima Kahn.
The series, set to begin production in February, will star Booksmart's Beanie Feldstein as Lewinsky.
Paulson, known for playing prosecutor Marcia Clark in The People v. O.J. Simpson, and Annaleigh Ashford, who played Andrew Cunanan's close friend Elizabeth Cote in The Assassination of Gianni Versace,will portray Linda Tripp and Paula Jones respectively.

Impeachment: American Crime Storywill likewise explore the overlooked dimensions of the women who found themselves caught up in the scandal and political war that cast a long shadow over the Clinton Presidency."
No word yet on who will be cast to play the Clintons or any of the other central roles in the historic event.
