The Watch The Masseuse Fired into The Wifes Hole OnlineAcademy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has removed both Bill Cosby and Roman Polanski following Cosby's conviction of sexual assault.
"The Board continues to encourage ethical standards that require members to uphold the Academy’s values of respect for human dignity," an official statement read.
The expulsion comes after the Academy was swift to take action against Harvey Weinstein in 2017 after he was accused of sexual assault and harassment. Woody Allen remains a member despite outstanding allegations, among others.
Cosby was found guilty on three counts of aggravated indecent assault, while Polanski was found guilty of unlawful intercourse with a minor in 1978 (he won Best Director in 2003).
