Judge is central to the sexual assault allegations brought forth by Christine Blasey Ford as Ford said that Judge was the second person in the room when Kavanaugh assaulted her at a party while she was in high school.
Those allegations led to the Thursday hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which stirred up a new storm of controversy over Kavanaugh's nomination.
While Kavanaugh is not a main character in the book, there's a reference to a friend and classmate of Judge's named "Bart O'Kavanaugh" that many have assumed is Kavanaugh.
Many have suggested that Judge's own admissions in the book about his heavy substance abuse and alcohol-related blackouts undermine Judge's credibility as a character witness for Kavanaugh in the recent hearings.
Now you can read and make that judgement for yourself.
UPDATE: Oct. 3, 2018, 2:44 p.m. EDT Updated to include new link to the official Archive upload. A previous upload of the book was deleted.
