It looks very cool on its own, but the collectible really comes to life when you bathe it in light from blue LEDs in the stand that comes with.

The pose and costume come from Capaldi's first press photo in the role, but that's somehow OK... he looks appropriately frozen in time, possibly trapped by some monstrous villain like the Master, the Silence, or Nigel Farage.

And if you're not a fan of Capaldi, or just like your time machines to be Doctor-free, the BBC also sells a "clear" version of the crystal TARDIS, with no Doctor inside.
