He beat out thousands and Swipeearned the top title in the poker world early Wednesday morning -- all while wearing a Guardians of the Galaxy"Rocket Raccoon" hat.
Qui Nguyen, 39, was named the 2016 main event champion at the 47th Annual World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas.
The Vietnam native beat out 6,737 other players and won $8,005,310, according to World Series of Poker officials.

The runner-up, Gordon Vayo from San Francisco, won $4,661,228.
The World Series of Poker tournaments began in May and continued with the top nine players Sunday and continued until the final table of three Tuesday evening. The nine were guaranteed to win at least $1 million each.
Winner Nguyen also gets to take home this sweet bracelet. It's worth $50,000 and is made from 427 grams of white and yellow gold and more than 2,000 diamonds and rubies totaling more than 44 carats, according to the Associated Press.
Nguyen -- one of the oldest winners in recent poker history -- won this world series event just in time for the final game of the other World Series.
