Weeks after reopening some of its U.S. retail stores,Gina Wild - Jetzt wird es schmutzig 5 (2000) which were shut down since March due to the coronavirus pandemic, Apple closed the majority of them down after they were targeted by looters.
9to5Mac reports that most of the stores have been closed until Sunday, but some will remained closed through Monday, too.
Apple confirmed the closures to 9to5Mac. "With the health and safety of our teams in mind, we’ve made the decision to keep a number of our stores in the U.S. closed on Sunday," the company said.
The protests demanding justice for George Floyd have in some places had looters joining in, destroying and stealing property from numerous retail stores, including Apple's. 9to5Mac says that the company's Uptown store in Minneapolis has been vandalized and looted, forcing Apple to close it and board it up. Apple's website says that particular store will remain closed until at least June 6.

All of these stores will remain closed until at least June 6 or 7, according to Apple's website.
