The meghan markle sex videoITmovie was pretty faithful to Stephen King's novel, but there was one thing they didn't really cover: the origins of everyone's favourite serial killer clown, Pennywise.
Well, it turns out they actually almost didcover it. Or at least hint at it.
SEE ALSO: 7 key differences between the 'IT' movie and Stephen King's novelIn a recent podcast with Variety, Bill Skarsgård spoke about a scene they shot which never made the final cut of IT: Chapter One.
"The scene turned out really, really disturbing"
"There's a scene that we shot that was a flashback scene from the 1600s, where Pennywise was -- before Pennywise," Skarsgård said.
"We shot it for additional shooting, and the scene turned out really, really disturbing... and I'm not the clown, I look more like myself... I don't want to spoil what the scene is, because we might use, it but it's a very disturbing scene, sort of a backstory for what It is, and where Pennywise came from.
"That might be something really worth exploring in the second one as well."
Skarsgard finished by explaining that the scene takes place around the time Derry was first being populated, when It has been dormant for thousands of years.
Surely it can't be any more disturbing than a murderous, sewer-dwelling clown ripping the arm off a small boy though, right?
....right?
