Slyly signing up for the week, binging all the buzzy shows and movies, and then quickly canceling before that recurring payment kicks in. However, once you've used that free trial, you're out of luck. But this weekend only, Apple TV+ is opening its gates and letting you watch totally free.
On Jan. 4 and 5, watch Apple TV+'s full library of movies and TV without a subscription. And this is no free trial that you have to remember to cancel. Here's how to watch Apple TV+ for free this weekend.

To take advantage of Apple TV+'s weekend of free streaming, all you need is an Apple ID login. Starting Jan. 4, log into Apple TV+ and gain access to the streamer's full catalog of content. You don't need to have an existing membership, and even if you've used your free trial, you can still watch for free this weekend.
The free streaming event lasts until Sunday, Jan. 5. After that, you'll need to subscribe to Apple TV+ for $9.99 a month.
Founded in 2019, Apple TV+ shot to prominence in 2020 with its hit show Ted Lasso, which garnered major awards attention at the Emmys and Golden Globes during its three-season run. Since its first TV success, Apple TV+ has captured film audiences, too, with CODA, which won Best Picture at the 94th Academy Awards.
Other favorites on the streaming service include Presumed Innocent, Shrinking, Slow Horses, Silo, and the eery workplace drama Severancewhich has fans eagerly waiting for its season two premiere on Jan. 17.
