The new hot sex videosite Costumeish has come under fire for selling the "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit," a not-so-subtle attempt at recreating Kim Kardashian's recent experience being held at gunpoint in Paris, and robbed of millions.
For $69.99, Halloween observers and those who choose to make light of a serious assault can buy the package which includes a white robe (described as "sexy"), black wig, fake multi-million dollar ring, sunglasses, a gag and yellow rope.
SEE ALSO: 'Feminist' op-ed on Kim Kardashian assault doesn't seem very feministThe site describes the "glamorous" costume of the media mogul without ever directly naming Kardashian.
"She has devoted her life to promoting American decadence, youth and hedonism but all that flashy living caught up with her one night in Paris when armed men bound her, stole her jewelry and her peace of mind," the description reads. "This Halloween have some fun with pop culture and dress just like the Queen of Social media with our sensational 'Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume' Costume."
Nothing about the night Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint sounds particularly "fun."
Based on 49 reviews, the costume has received three out of five stars. The comments are mixture of remarks—some lauding the site and others reacting negatively at the costume, calling attention to the promotion of "anti-female culture," as one commenter put it.
Twitter users expressed their disgust with the costume as well:

In a statement to BuzzFeed, Johnathon Weeks, the company's vice president, admitted they had not sold a costume at the time of his remarks.
“I’m sad that people are offended by it, but it is Halloween: it’s one day out of the year... people should be able to laugh at it and think it’s funny.” Weeks said to BuzzFeed, describing the holiday as light-hearted.
