A tweet published today implied that 16 cities from around the world were pegged to compete in Blizzard's OverwatchLeague015 Archives but the list was quickly revealed to be hypothetical.
Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Miami, Paris, Frankfurt, London, Shanghai, Toronto, Seoul and Mexico City were listed as cities that could potentiallybe a part in the OverwatchLeague as part of a presentation by Overwatchleague commissioner Nate Nanzer during Leaders' Sports Business Summit in New York.

The Twitter user Mark J. Burns followed this up with another tweet about 40 minutes later clarifying that the image above was not an official reveal, just hypothetical.
A spokesperson for Blizzard confirmedthat the 16 cities listed are just examples and the OverwatchLeague has not announced any cities today.
"The logos and team examples shown at the Leaders Summit were for illustrative purposes only and are not the League's actual teams," they said. "That's noted on the bottom of the full slide."
