Reporters don't just broadcast the news -- sometimes they happen to make the news via on-air bloopers. And when they do,Mystery Archives well, we relish in the hilarious results.

6ABC meteorologist Cecily Tynan suffered a minor wardrobe malfunction when her earring popped off while reporting the weather. Although she was a bit rattled because she "really liked that earring," she continued the broadcast like a seasoned champ.

Then, in the middle of the live broadcast, anchor Jim Gardner swoops in, and like a hawk on a mission, finds Tynan's missing jewelry, hands it back to her, and wanders off screen.

The surprise cracks up Tynan, who calls the interruption her "favorite moment ever on Action News."

Sometimes heroes wear capes, other times they wear a suit and report the news.
