If you're trying and eroticism rated r moviesfailing to access Disney+ content, you're not alone.
As morning crowds gather to get a first glimpse the newly launched streaming service, the increased traffic has caused some problems. This is what happens when you put most of the Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and classic Disney catalog all into one place.
There's also the small matter of the service hosting the first-ever live-action Star Wars TV series. (It is good.)
Speaking anecdotally, I installed Disney+ on my phone and fired it up almost as soon as I woke up on launch day. The home screen wouldn't even load at that point, with the app showing an error message instead. I was able to use the search feature to find individual items, but some options – including The Mandalorian– just wouldn't play.
In the few hours since, performance has improved considerably. The home screen shows up and all of the content I've tried to access is now playing, including the Star Wars show. But that might not be the case for everyone. Plenty of people are still reporting issues, and Disney has confirmed it.

At least the error screens are flashy. The app only showed me plain text when I dealt with connection errors, but others are seeing their error text enhanced with familiar faces from the Disney catalog.

As is always the case with new, wholly online product launches, be patient. This stuff will work itself out. Disney no doubt prepared for heavy traffic on launch day traffic, but there are also limits to what can be done in advance to mitigate issues like this.
The situation at least seems to be improving. Disney+ is currently the top result on DownDetector, as of 10:30 a.m. ET on Nov. 12, but reports of issues have declined steeply over the past hour. People are clearly still having problems, but hopefully not for too much longer. (Disclosure notice: DownDetector is a fellow subsidiary of Mashable's parent company, Ziff Davis.)
Disney+ doesn't seem to have a network status page up and running (yet), so if you don't want to keep banging your head against the app, the Disney+ Help Twitter account is your best bet for keeping track of updates.
