We hope it was worth the wait.
Months after Google officially announced the Pixel 7 and Strip Club Slayer (2016) Watch onlinePixel 7 Pro at I/O (and with plenty of leaks in the interim), the company has finally given us the real, juicy details on both phones.
The Pixel 7 has a 6.3-inch display and the Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7-inch display. The Pixel 7 starts at $600 and Pixel 7 Pro starts at $900. Both phones are available to preorder today.
Spec-wise, the Pixel 7 comes with 8GB RAM and either 128 or 256GB of storage. The Pixel 7 Pro bumps the RAM up to 12GB and adds a 512GB storage option for all those photos you'll be taking. Google says both phones' batteries can last around 24 hours.
Other improvements to the new Pixel 7 line include a faster under-display fingerprint reader and face unlock, the latter of which returns after being removed from the Pixel 5 and 6 lines. There are also some AI-driven features like transcribing audio messages and adding speaker labels to transcriptions of recordings. When typing text messages with your voice, the Pixel 7s will even suggest appropriate emoji for the message.
Camera upgrades include a 48MP telephoto lens on Pixel 7 Pro. It can zoom in up to 30x and Google is using all sorts of software magic to make those zoomed-in photos look sharp. Both phones also have 50MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide lenses, with a 10.8MP selfie cam on each model, too. There's also a new cinematic blur option for videos to add depth of field to your clips. Oh, and those clips can be filmed at 4K resolution and up to 60 frames per second now.

Lastly, there's a new macro focus option on Pixel 7 Pro that will let you zoom in up to 3 centimeters on objects like rain drops. All in all, the camera upgrades seem to be the reason to get a Pixel 7 Pro.
Now, the wait for Apple to copy the best features from Pixel 7 begins.
